TAKE ACTION NOW for the UNEMPLOYED!

FAJ Supporting Organizations Listserve

The House is voting tonight on the Senate bill that will extend Unemployment Insurance for two months.

If the House fails to pass the Senate bill,
the unemployed will then have to wait over a full month for Congress to come back into session and start negotiating all over again.

It is inexcusable for the House to abandon them right before the holidays and new year.

The Senate bill may not be perfect but it gives the unemployed 2 months breathing room and gives Congress the chance to come back and do better.

Please go to www.unemployedworkers.org and use the action alert to contact your Representatives in the House today. We need to flood office and the press needs to make their lead that 1.8 million could lose UI in January if the House fails to pass the Senate bill today.

PLEASE TAKE ACTION NOW!
