Photo Story: Vigil for Just Peace

Rev. Rebecca Littlejohn, co-chair of Disciples Peace Fellowship, commented on the success of the vigil. She said, “I was a little concerned that simply walking around the block, singing and praying, would be a little too 'old-school' to attract much of a crowd, but based on the feedback I continued receiving the rest of the week, Disciples are eager to join together in the classic disciplines of the faith, in order to strengthen our common witness to the importance of just peacemaking in all realms of life.”
