DC4PW: Don't Forget The Center!

"God loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of God's unfailing love. (Psalm 33:5)

Warmest greetings from The Disciples Center for Public Witness as we approach the last week of Advent!  As we prepare to light the Advent candle representing love, we pray that all people will soon have a passionate love for justice; and also that all of us will continue to have a heart for the ministry we all share as leaders, advocates, advisors, and supporters of DC4PW.

As you're preparing for upcoming church services, finishing up your last-minute holiday shopping, and completing your year-end charitable giving, we want to do to things:  first, we want to thank you again for your generosity in the past; and, second, we want to ask you to continue to support DC4PW as we—all of us—work together to fulfill our mission.  Again, our shared mission is to:

+ apply our denomination's passion for justice and vision of true community to public policy issues and concerns;
+  inform, connect, and empower Disciples and other people of faith for ecumenical and interfaith justice advocacy in the United States and Canada; and
+ participate actively alongside all people of faith and conscience to build the Beloved Community envisioned by the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

This Christmas season, we invite you to support two especially important areas of ministry:  our outreach to young adults and our programming around racial justice.  When you support these important areas of our overall shared ministry, you support not only the work of The Center (DC4PW), but also the future of our church.  So please give generously!

And if you have friends, colleagues, or family members—especially young adults—who might be interested in supporting the vision, values, and work of The Center (DC4PW), please forward this email along to them.  In fact, since it's almost Christmas, why not give them a special Christmas gift:  make an extra donation in their name.

Note:  If you prefer to mail in your special Christmas gift:
