DRONES, BANNERS, AND ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR YOUR SOCIAL OUTREACH MINISTRY

Hello,

My name is Esther Smith, and I am an advocacy associate for human rights at the Disciples Center for Public Witness. I'm working with Rev. Dr. Ken Brooker Langston to promote awareness on the need to bring moral accountability to the usage of drone warfare and also the torture of prisoners.

The Interfaith Network on Drone Warfare is giving $100 donations to congregations that hold a screening for a thirty minute informative video on the moral challenges posed by drone warfare. You can learn more about their organization and this opportunity from their website: https://www.interfaithdronenetwork.org/

Additionally, NRCAT (National Religious Campaign Against Torture is holding a campaign to bring awareness to the issue of torture. NRCAT is asking for congregations to show support for this issue by displaying a banner provided by the organization. You can learn more about this organization on their website: http://www.nrcat.org/about-us

Please feel free to contact me or any of the organizations for any questions or concerns you may have. I am working closely with both the Interfaith Network and NRCAT, and would be happy to have a conversation with you to talk more about these opportunities and the details that follow.

Thank you for your time, and I hope to hear from you soon!
